Our Company- Started in 2006 by Bob Duncan, DES started by offering to consolidate elevator and escalator maintenance contracts for hospital clients. The hospital chains found that not only were the savings significant, but the consolidated agreements gave them much greater leverage in dealing with the elevatior companies. In addition, the fact that all locations were operating under the same terms, conditons and scope of work led to a much more stable maintenance envoirnment.
- In 2007, the firm began work with the owner of a large chain of hotels. In addition to performing a consolidation of their maintenance agreements, resulting in significant savings in their maintenance costs, we began to monitor their costs for work outside the scope of the maintenance agreement. The results are that we generally more than pay for our services, with this phase of our work.
- In 2010, we began working with another large hotel client and currently have over 1/2 dozen modernization projects underway. We performed a maintenance consolidation and are in the process of transitioning their individual maintenance agreements to the new master agreements.
- In 2012, we will move the headquarters of our business from Louisville, KY to Nashville, TN and Chip Duncan will take over as CEO. Chip will be bringing with him several clietnts with whom he has worked for many years. Our business is poised for growth with services tailored to our clients needs. liability company owned and operated by Chip Duncan or by Duncan Elevator
Solutions LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company owned and operated by Bob
Duncan. In some cases services will be
performed jointly by both companies.
